On October 2nd, Sagium proudly supported the first-ever “Top 7 Over 70” gala which received rave reviews from 800 attendees at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

The Top 7 over 70 is an awards program for any senior who is over 70 — and lives in Calgary or its surrounding communities. Ideal nominees are those who have started something different or new, or implemented a new venture or idea, after age 70. The event was attended by Sagium Principal Rick Green who was impressed, “the evening was truly inspiring and we are so proud to be a part in this celebration” with Sagium Principal John Guderyan adding, “acknowledging the accomplishments of those over 70 reminds us that there is no time limit on following your dreams and living your best life.”

The gala celebrated award winners Gerry Miller, Marjorie Zingle, Al Muirhead, Don Seaman, Amin Ghali, Vera Goodman and Alan Ferguson as well as 101-year-old Dr. Richard Guy, a University of Calgary mathematician who still lectures, mentors and fundraises, who received a special award - a Citation of Unique Merit.

Congratulations to all award winners and all nominees!
