Position Overview
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you are a key part of Sagium’s Wealth Strategist Team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing Sagium clients by providing high-quality client service, developing and implementing financial plans, insurance quotes, and presentations with open access to the products available in the marketplace; in a range of complexities for individuals, business owners, corporate executives, and professionals. You will primarily service the Sagium clients and secondarily work with the Senior Wealth Strategists with client files, including recommendations, illustrations, and projections for assets and insurance strategies.
Key activities
• This position will provide proactive administrative and operational support to our existing client base and our team of Wealth Strategists.
• Deliver excellent service supporting the generation of referrals from existing clients.
• Perform ongoing fact-finding to uncover growth opportunities, multi-generational opportunities, and provide varying solutions to a client's planning requirements to achieve their goals – building your own book.
• Leverage technology to capture all activities, next steps, notes, and tasks in Sagium’s CRM system, Salesforce, to drive sales retention.
• Run insurance quotes and create complex comparison presentations using our internal tools.
• A resource to Wealth Advisors for administrative completion of client solutions.
Behaviours, Skills, and Competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree
• CFP designation; obtained or in pursuit
• LLQP designation; obtained or in pursuit
• 2 – 5 years of proven sales and service experience. An existing book of business is an asset but not required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM data entry (Salesforce is an asset) • Proven relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial and works well as part of a team
• Excellent communications skills; both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Attitude of accountability and ownership of work
