Sagium proudly announces the expansion of our planning department and welcomes Matt Glasser and Dustin Nickel to our team as Financial Planning Analysts. Dustin & Matt will form an integral part of our continued commitment to the client experience and we are excited to have them join our firm.
Dustin Nickel is a Business Graduate of Mount Royal University with a major in General Management and minor in Finance. During his studies, Dustin played for the Mount Royal University Cougars Hockey Team where he was selected as a four-time CIS All-Canadian Academic Athlete on top of a number of other academic achievements. Dustin is a CFA Level 1 Candidate and plans on furthering his education through his enrollment in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program. An energetic team player, Dustin shares Sagium’s core value of providing people with meaningful advice, and is committed to doing whatever it takes to support our advisors in achieving this. Outside of work, Dustin maintains an active role as a goaltending coach in an effort to give back to the hockey community and also volunteers in various community programs.
Matt Glasser is a Business Graduate of the University of Denver where he received a double major in Finance and Economics as well as a number of academic and leadership accolades. After a successful career as a hockey player, which included being selected 220th overall in the 2005 NHL entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers, Matt began his transition to the financial services industry, taking a role as a Banking Advisor with RBC. Matt has since completed his Canadian Securities Course (CSC) Certification and plans on furthering his education through his enrollment in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program. A highly motivated and passionate individual, Matt is looking forward to his new role at Sagium and the challenge and satisfaction that comes with helping people meet their financial goals. Matt is an active volunteer and enjoys giving back to the hockey community and other worthy causes wherever possible.
